  *PLEASE READ THIS LISTING TO THE END TO LEARN ABOUT MY LP COLLECTION & UNDERSTAND MY QUALITY AND GRADING METHODS*
  Here is an Original 1987 Club Pressing of Whitesnake's self-titled LP  "WHITESNAKE".  Geffen Records Catalog # GHS-24099 (RCA Music Service Club Issue). Hit songs include Cryin In The Rain, Still Of The Night, Here I Go Again & Is This Love !   This is a very high quality pressing, produced using 'Quiex Virgin (Translucent) Vinyl'.  During the 1980's many record company's began using Quiex Virgin Vinyl for their promotional (DJ) and colored vinyl special edition LP's but then decided to produce many of their retail LP's with it as well, due to the resulting higher audio quality. (The test for Quiex Virgin Vinyl is simple, shine a bright light through the LP and it appears somewhat translucent with a dark brownish or purplish tint).   Album Condition:  (See photos for more details) There is no cellophane on the 'Outer Cover / Sleeve'  and is does have some 'Scratch or Scrape Damage to 2 to 3 inches in the center of the spine, where the word Whitesnake should appear. There is also some slightly noticeable ring wear on the top, back. Overall, according to Goldmine Grading it is in VG/VG+ Condition.  The Original Inner Sleeve is printed with lyrics on one side and the Whitesnake 'Seal' on the other and is still very flat except for one slightly wrinkled corner. It does have a 6" to 7" split on one side. Again, according to Goldmine Grading it is in VG/VG+ Condition.  The Vinyl LP has been placed in a New Clear Synthetic Anti-Static Inner Sleeve and is super clean with all it's original shine and luster, looks brand new with no scratches but you may possibly see a few barely visible scuffs if you shine a light on it at just the right angle. According to Goldmine Grading it is in EX to NM Condition.
 ? The Audio Test revealed little to no noticeable surface noise (crackle), even in the dead time between tracks, only the extremely occasional click or tick, which can be heard even in the newest of LP's. The sound quality is still very crisp and clear on both sides.  Again,  This LP is in EX-NM Condition !   The Audio Test was performed on a Technics SL-J33 Programmable Linear Tracking Turntable !   Here is the actual LP information & identifiers: 1987 Geffen Records catalog # GHS 24099 (however the labels and matrix run-outs also include the RCA catalog # R163629).  ID #'s printed on Label Side 1: Left Side, R163629-A, Right Side above the number 1, GHS 24099.  ID #'s printed on Label Side 2: Left Side, R163629-B, Right Side above the number 2, GHS 24099.  Matrix Run-out Side 1: (etched) R163629A - 1, (stamped) AI, (etched) I.  Matrix Run-out Side 2: (etched) R163629B - 1, (stamped) AI, (etched) L.   Since my local computer shop closed last year, I am selling many Vintage, New & NOS Computer parts, various other items, *as well as many of my own personal collectible items* to help out financially. *Please Read This Information About My LP Collection*:  All Records (LP's) that I sell are from my own personal collection so I know their full history. Over 95% of the LP's I purchased were opened and immediately recorded to cassette tape, then the LP was safely and securely stored to preserve it's quality. On rare occasions, a tape would fail so I would need to play an LP again to re-record it. That is 'usually' the only time an LP would be played more than once. Even in the Very Good / Very Good+ to Excellent Condition that describes most of my LP's, there are exceptions.  They have been stored a long time and have made several cross country moves with me so there may me some minor flaws (or worse). I try to be as accurate as possible to describe them including the Cover, Inner Sleeve & Vinyl LP, and grade them according to 'GoldMine' Standards. I also include Any & All Matrix / Run-Out Stamp or Etching Information, (Numbers, Letters & Symbols, etc) in order to better identify their Exact Origin (US or Foreign), Pressing Dates and Locations, Original, 1st Pressing or Re-Issue's or any other special notations of importance. Finally, since my LP's have "Been Around" the country, moving with me, I've added one more service. Just from the Vinyl LP sliding around in it's sleeve or jacket, paper dust can accumulate in the grooves and affect playback quality, therefore, I gently but thoroughly clean each LP I sell in a Customized Spin Clean system using a residue free anti-static solution, allow them to completely air dry (no towel drying), then place the LP in a New, Clear, Synthetic, Anti-Static Protective Sleeve. Any original sleeves, (photo, printed or just plain) will still be included inside the cover to keep the LP package complete. I also 'Spot Audio Test' each LP for surface noise, especially between tracks where it's most noticeable. If there are small surface scuffs or scratches I will play completely through them and describe any effects they have on the audio quality. This may all seem like a lot of work but I want my buyers to be fully informed and feel confident they are getting a high quality item for their money.
