Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL BELGIAN PRESSING of BOB PORTER'S "MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE, RYTHMEE ET IMPROVISEE" LP on Selection Library (Cat. #LP 6142). Truly incredible jazz/funk session on the very rare Selection imprint with top-notch musicianship and not just a one-tracker here either... this LP really cracks from start to finish. Aside from the consistency of the music itself, the tracks are also longer then your standard 2 to 3 minute library fare in this style... the four best tracks are all 5 to 6 minutes long. I'm surprised this isn't more well known but that may very well be due to the scarcity of these Selection titles. Highlights here are 'Mindanao', 'Waking Up at Sunset', 'Home Made Soup' and 'Sky Base'. Cover has some light ringwear and catalogue number in black pen at top right of back cover. Vinyl is absolutely flawless, perfect, unplayed!
Condition of Cover/Vinyl is EX / NM.
Shipping/handling for 1 LP is $9.99 within North America and $16.99 Internationally (Slightly more for Western Canadian Provinces, Australia and Russia). 2 to 3 LP's is $14.99 to the United States and $29.99 Internationally. Rates can be confirmed at www.canadapost.ca.
***PLEASE NOTE: Auctions of $150.00 or more require a tracking number, buyer to pay actual cost - please inquire for rates***
