Every once in a while, you open a record sleeve and discover a story waiting inside.
This copy of Greatest Hits by Seals & Crofts was found tucked away with a vintage concert clipping preserved inside the jacket — a quiet hint that this album may have once been carried to a live show decades ago.
Across the front cover, in bold blue ink, are what appear to be the signatures of both Jim Seals and Dash Crofts. The autographs are clear, strong, and prominently displayed.
While I cannot verify exactly when or where it was signed, the pairing of the concert clipping and the album makes for a compelling piece of music history.
