Note On Packaging:
This album has been released previously in conventional form as PE 34974. Sound quality of this Picture Edition is not comparable to the conventional edition. Playing of this record will result in surface noise.

My Notes/Comments: As for the sound quality disclaimer, this information was typical at the time as often buyers were unaware that the main reason for Picture Disc releases was mostly for collectors to display. They can, of course, be played but the sound quality is less than conventional records mainly because of the process used to manufacture them. The conventional release of this album was in 1977, but most sources credit the Picture Disc release as 1979, although a few say 1978. The packaging is unclear (listing 1977) but no source I found credited it that early. As for this particular item, it is sealed but due to age the seal on the side with the opening has split at about the middle of the opening, in about a 3 inch section. The shrink, however, is not torn, just split right along the opening. I also suspect the split happened because of the extremely tight seal – which is still tight after all these years.
