Up for auction is a guaranteed factory sealed copy of The Beatles Story STBO 2222. I originally had this copy on consignment over the past summer with Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries and have decided to sell it outright.
Jim said the cover was 80 percent sealed due to a small 3x5 area of shrink wrap missing on the upper front right corner. The top seam of the shrink is obviously split 70 percent due to this as well. The shrink has about a five inch tear in the back three inches from the spine.
There are three breathe holes as evident in the pictures as well as the royal blue inner sleeves showing at the mouth of the jacket.The shrink wrap seal is evidence of a Los Angels pressing and no RIAA number as usual for this cover.
There is some slight silverfish damage to the center top seam and that pretty much it. A great price and a great way to own an authentic sealed Beatles album.
