Description

From Victor's sought-after 23000 series, the original

Carter Family (Sara, AP, and Maybelle) do "Can't Feel

At Home" and "When I'm Gone" on scroll Victor 23569.

The A side is outstanding, super vocal harmony! Sara

Carter's voice is so pure and simple, it is a thrill to

hear it 70 years later (Sara on right in photo).

Both sides were done in Charlotte North Carolina on May

25-26, 1931.

These Victor 23000 series records are usually found

beat-up, but this one is in excellent to

excellent-minus (E to E-) condition and plays great! It

is in the original RCA Victor Company, Inc. sleeve.
