Description
This listing is for a copy of Scott 4 by Scott Walker/ Scott Engel. It's an original first pressing on Philips - Please read below for details regarding the condition of the record/ sleeve.
Included here is: the record and original gatefold sleeve. I will also provide an archival inner and outer protective sleeve and package the record set in a music max mailer, for protection during transit.
Record condition
The record is in VG condition and the surfaces retain a nice sheen.
There are several hairline marks on the record's surfaces and a deeper mark on track 2 side 1.
Track 2 on side 1 has the most noticeable surface noise/ crackle, caused by the mark. Otherwise the ticks and crackles are intermittent on side 1, but do not distract from the listening experience. Side 2 has the occasional crackle or tick, which can be heard in quieter passages and between tracks.
There are no loud pops, apart from the run-in grooves on side 1. There are no skips.
Playback is very enjoyable, if you can overlook the occasional crackle or tick.
Sleeve condition
The sleeve is in VG condition and has a worn appearance, most likely caused by shelf-wear. Also there is ring-wear, which is most noticeable on the back cover.
Overall, this is a sturdy and presentable sleeve
