Description

An original 1st press of Scot 4 from November 1969. Matrix 3/1. Labels are correct for very 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. We also have the original inner sleeve date coded to the month of release. "119" = November 1969. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Jeppers creepers..In absolutely marvellous condition and has clearly only seen light use. Much of the original lustre still very much apparent. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slightest deviation. Wow, there's some really beautifully rich orchestral movements on this original "4". Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Can't really imagine snagging a better playing copy - this example is just acing it across the board. Very lush detailed audio - highly addictive. Beautifully clean signalled - in totality all the way through. And you're gonna need that if you're looking for that all time show stopper of a copy. One solitary tick midway through 'Boy Child'. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg-) Not up to the standard of the vinyl - but acceptable. The main issue is that bit of surface damage on the front caused by a sticker being removed. There's also some surface wear, too, front and back. The interior looks superb with no issues. A modicum of edge wear - nothing serious. The spine is a mixed bag. The top end with the title name looks well preserved. The bottom has a fair bit of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. Bag present. No splits.
