Schubert Octet Vienna UK Decca SXL 2028 WB
The Vienna Octet performs the Schubert “Octet in F Major, Opus 166”. An English stereo pressing on the English Decca Label (SXL 2028 stampers 2E/3E ), the labels have full frequency stereo sound fatband and ffss logo, Made in England by… at 10 o’ clock and a groove. The record has a small pressing bubble that thumps for 10 or so revolutions – otherwise it is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has minor rubbing with a ring, a a small crease in the laminate – in very good condition.
