Tom Waits (Covered by Scarlett Johansson): Anywhere I Lay My Head
Original 2008 Release
Scarlett Johansson's contra alto vocals are the perfect fit for these Tom Waits classics. Rare album that, in my opinion, was unappreciated upon it's original release that has gained a cult following.
Inside the album cover sleeve is a sweet "advent calendar" style composition that has little widows revealing pictures. These have never been opened, so these will be a pleasant surprise to the buyer!
Anywhere I Lay My Head is the debut studio album by American actress, Scarlett Johansson, released on May 16, 2008 by Atco Records. The album was produced by Dave Sitek and includes collaborations with David Bowie and members of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Celebration. Contains four songs written by Tom Waits, six songs written by Waits and his wife Kathleen Brennan, and one original composition, "Song for Jo".
