For auction is the 5 LP box set, released in 2019, of various Saxon live performances from various venues and countries, dubbed 'The eagle has landed - 40'. I played this once only, one Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed every second of it. I wondered whether Saxon would be a nostalgia act, faded glory one might say. Not so - excellent performances and Biff is in fine voice!! An excellent, indulgent slice of hard rock, courtesy of one of the original NWOBHM acts.
Condition is excellent however, due to the sleeve types, some of the edges of the sleeves have very slight minor tears, due to the LP discs trying to poke out. I have included an image, (the last photo), to show an example of the 1 - 1 1/2 inch marks. Apart from that, everything is perfect, from the outer box, the unopened slip mat as well as the large book. Also contains a lanyard with backstage pass. Discs will probably have some dust as I have not cleaned them since I last played them, which was earlier this year.
NOTE - from a smoke and pet free home. Well looked after and stored. Due to lack of space, I am slowly selling my LP collection. I will eventually buy this set on CD.
Postage - I will use RM next day, 1 PM delivery, due to the size of weight of this set. As this postage price would be around £15.00, to add further attraction to sell this set, I will only charge half the price, so shipping will only be around £7.50. I will send an invoice accordingly.
