The records are each in their original polythene protective sleeve. One side of this is clear, the other side shows the word  Satchmo in Red and a large Gold Trumpet. Across the bottom it states: A Musical Autobiography Of Louis Armstrong On Decca Records. On the bottom of the box is a Black & White cardboard Photograph Number 2 of Louis with his Cat. Between Records 2,&3 & 4&5 is another Black and White cardboard Photograph number 1, of Louis with his index finger pointing skywards.

Inside the box is a ‘DECCA RECORDS FACTORY INSPECTION SLIP’  The Inspector’s # is 392. I believe he did an Excellent job. This was done at Plant No 1.  When it is closed up it has been made to look like a large book with Gold Edged Pages.  The front has protective corners on the edges. There is a super smiling picture of Louis on the Front with his spotty bowtie and trumpet. The back shows him a little more relaxed, sitting on a chair, smiling, socks but no shoes and of course his beloved trumpet in his hand.

I have checked the records carefully – I cannot see any scratches or faults on them.
