Description
This is Brooklyn brothers Santo and Johnny Farina playing their first album "Santo & Johnny" on Canadian American CALP 1001/SCALP 1001 from 1959. This stereo record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in MINT condition. The mono jacket is VG++ with minor wear along the edges of the jacket. This album comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. The reason there is a stereo record and a mono jacket is as follows. "Sleepwalk" is "our song" for my wife and I. So all I could afford in 1959 was the mono album. Many years later I found a stereo copy of this album - the record was decent but the jacket was destroyed. So I put the stereo record in my mono jacket and it's been that way for the last 40 years. This will concern some of you collectors - but do you realize how hard is to come by a stereo copy of this album. That one with the destroyed jacket is the only I've found in over 40 years. I just wanted all of you to know about this mismatch before you think about buying this album.
