SANDY DENNY
'THE NORTH STAR GRASSMAN AND THE RAVENS
*ULTRA-RARE & 100% GENUINE SIGNED COPY OF HER 1st SOLO LP*
Both signatures were obtained in in the early 1970's by the organiser of a university folk club who arranged concerts there & who later became friends with Sandy.
The signatures are both on the inside of the gatefold of an original unlaminated 1st pressing cover of the album which was printed by 'Howards Printers (Slough)'.
Sandy has clearly signed 'Love Sandy Denny' above her portrait on the left panel.
Richard Thompson has also signed in the lower left area of the right panel.
The LP within is a 1st pressing on the pink rimmed Island: ILPS 9165

Inside: EXCELLENT +
The all important inside of the gatefold is bright and clean with Sandy & Richard's autographs clear, bold and unfaded in blue ballpoint . The original owner's name is also discretely written in the upper right corner of the right panel. A beautiful display piece which is unlikely to be offered for sale again.
Outside: VERY GOOD +
This thick, heavy cover displays some light storagewear rubbing to the front & rear panels with some minor shelfwear to the lower edge but no major signs of wear.

Both surfaces are clean, bright & glossy, displaying just a few wispy paper hairlines directly under halogen light but no significant marks or scratches to either side.
Play: EXCELLENT
This carefully played copy sounds clear & clean throughout and has no significant or major audible faults or wear.
