Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Sam Rivers “Contours” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4206. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once. The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; the top seam has light rubbing and ¼” wear at the opening; 1/8” wear at the bottom left corner; 2 ½” rubbing on the bottom seam, at the opening. Blue Note inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers. $250.00..
