Description
Sam Cooke. First LP on Keen Records. Self Titled. 1958. First label with multi color bars. Deep Groove. DG. Record plays very nicely with a little bit of surface noise and some light clicks. There are a few light marks, but overall the vinyl is very clean.
The jacket is really nice. Clear front cover graphics, strong spine, a little bit of flaking on the top and bottom seams. The little green spot on Sam's nose is from the original production of the graphic/picture. Hard to find this jacket in such nice condition.
Cleaned on my Clearaudio Matrix record cleaning machine and placed it in a premium Japanese inner sleeve. Jacket is stored in a premium Japanese re-sealable sleeve. All LPs listed are from my personal collection.
Goldmine book value of this 1958 mono record is $200 in NM condition.
