Sam Apple Pie - 1st LP
(Decca LK-R 5005 UK LP 1969)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve which has a small Mono/ Stereo circular cut-out on the rear. It comes with its original polythene-lined "red border" company inner sleeve. This is in Good condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press P-1A/ P-1A matrix stampers. It has red "unboxed" Decca labels.
A rare late 1960's UK Blues-Psych-Prog LP.
Sleeve: There is a pen squiggle on one of the faces on the rear sleeve. There is some mild to more moderate staining & a small tear on the rear also. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear too. Good+ condition.
Vinyl: There are considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a fair few marks too. Fair+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays Good to Good++ overall. There is some light, mild or more moderate crackle in the quieter places. There are a few light clicks on two tracks. There are some more moderate clicks on two songs as well. It does not jump.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
