Description

An original 1st mono press of HOIC on UK Atlantic label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day cover. We have a late 60's inner too.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side, one superficial trail - nothing troublesome that would remotely affect the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Pretty much a perfect player - the audio could not be bettered. Bold, with dynamics, and detail. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Hardly any background at all. The only vaguely noticeable deterioration is a 1 second pulse of distortion in track 3 [side 1]. An absolute beaut which ever way you look at it.
Cover (Vg+) Very nice shiny and unaged front cover - pretty much faultless. The rear looks great and doesn't seem to have been affected by the ageing process. There is a couple of surface level blemishes over on the left side. Edge wear is relatively slight and the openings still sharp. The spine is the only let down - a bit of wear. So, don't expect to be able to be able to make out much of the text.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
