Description
Sailor, 1976 US band, 700 West 761130, RARE rock vinyl LP
I don't say "rare" often but this one is. Often confused with 1974 UK band Sailor, this obscurity is a gem of west-coast sounding 70s vibe.
Some of it reminds me a a mix of Poco, Eagles with some singing reminiscent of Neil Young, Timothy B Schmidt and James Taylor all mixed together. Add in great unique songwriting, some killer harmonies and GORGEOUS sounding guitar (I play) and you have a recipe for a great recording. You will likely be the only one with this record.
Cover G/VG (discolorations, top and bottom edge splits 3-4", some ringwear). Rough, but the heart of it is still there, and it's in a plastic sleeve. Also contains original lyric sleeve in VG, yellowed/wrinkled.
Vinyl EX (plays excellent, I've spun the whole thing a few times, it's very infectious)
