This auction is for a Cheffins Auction Catalogue.  Including many items from the estate / home of Roger Keith (Syd) Barrett – 1946-2006.

It is the catalogue for the Fine Art Sale held on Wednesday 29 & Thursday 30 November 2006.

EXTREMELY collectable in its own right, these catalogues are used by collectors and are a fantastic reference point for rarities.

The auction includes a number of items from the home of Syd.

Syd Barrett was one of the most important and influential musicians in London’s underground music scene of the late 60s.  He was a founding member of, and the original songwriter for, Pink Floyd.  His time with the band did not last more than 2 years, but his influence on their music was profound.  When, in 2001, Pink Floyd released ‘Echoes, The Best of Pink Floyd’, Syd had written, or contributed to over a fifth of the tracks.
