Description
33rpm vinyl LP Record of SXL 6263 ROMANTIC RUSSIA featuring the music of Borodin, Glinka and Mussorgsky with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti. It was issued on the Stereo DECCA wideband grooved label in 1966 with 'Made in England' in the 10 o'clock position. First UK pressing. Matrices 4G/1G.
The record itself is graded excellent, with the odd light surface mark visible under normal domestic lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality with no issues on Side 1; Side 2 has 4 clicks half way through track 2, another one a bit later, then a couple of pops near the end of the side - a near mint minus playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. Light spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good with light handling and storage wear, and some age toning to the rear cover. The pinched spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has the usual creasing but no splits or tears.
