My gradings are as Records Collector except for my general use of Vg+  and Vg++
 which I use for records that are well above the standard of Vg but are not quite Ex.
It seems worth mentioning that Record Collector Gradings are really about rock and pop!
 The complete set of Record Collector magazines is most likely the finest reference work available for rock and pop,
 but it rarely touches on  jazz artists, even the greatest, and never, ever, mentions string quartets, piano solos,
 hushed ecclesiastical music, or delicate open textured  lieder and similar other vocal works.
  Vg  might be fine on a rock record but most classical records are barely acceptable at this level. _________________________________________________________________________________________
