SXL 2017 – STRAVINSKY The Fire Bird (WBg) ED1 STEREO

Label: Decca (STEREOPHONIC)
Materix number: SXL. 2017
Label details: 1st pressing (Wide Band Grooved) ED1. Black label with silver lettering. . A deep circular groove runs around the label, about 1.5cm from the edge and the words ‘Original Recording by the Decca co. ltd. London’ are printed around the top half of the label. The Decca logo, also in silver, is printed in large letters, with the FFSS circular logo printed above the words ‘Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound’ filling a 1cm silver band running full width across the label below. This is referred to as WBg (Wide Band Grooved) and known as ‘ED1’ (English Decca 1st Label)
Condition:
Outer Sleeve:
Laminated flip-back sleeve with original stereophonic 'pan-cake' label on cover. Clean, flat, no writing or splitting at edges. Slight damage at flip back of sleeve, quite minimal. otherwise excellent.
Inner sleeve:
Original Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound Decca inner sleeve in blue lettering with protective pvc inner protection. Excellent condition.
Vinyl:
Appears to be in excellent condition although one small mark, does not affect sound, clean & shines in sunlight. Label clean & undamaged.
