Description

Decca SXL 2016 (1958 release) 1st Edition of  Vienna Holiday with Knappertsbusch conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra playing works by Johann Strauss, Johann Strauss Sr, Kamzak and Ziehrer. The vinyl is not in the best condition but plays nicely enough with some surface noise but no jumps. Once given a professional clean I think the sound quality would improve immensely. The outer sleeve has some wear to the open end with a little peeling of the laminate on both sides and the remnants of 'tags'. There is a Banks & Son shop label at the bottom of the rear of the sleeve. Overall grading would be VG+/VG+ and certainly room for improvement for the vinyl. Also has original inner sleeve.
