        Test pressing with Pitman labels. The only text added to generic test labels are the inked side numbers.

Includes Xerox of the document, “Album Cover Copy, Third Revision, 9/16/68.”  “Revised to change catalog number and to show correct publisher information and label heading.”  Also includes a Xerox of the typeset liner notes. Inked catalog number revision on the cover copy sheet and on the notes.

M-. Clean, unmarked, glossy surface. No spindle trails.  May be unplayed.  Generic cover. Visual grading. M- label copy.

        An unusual pre-release test pressing of the recording that became the bridge between avant-garde classical use of the synthesizer and its everyday employment in the popular music world.  No previous sale (or listing in Discogs) of this edition was located. 

    The album was released during October, 1968.
