Hello everyone,
I'm auctioning seven 78s. The titles may be read from the photos but please don't hesitate to ask questions or request further photos.
The condition is as follows :-
The Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and the Jimmy Lunceford are in excellent condition.
The remainder are in very good condition with some small fine surface marks and the odd small scuff. All play without skips or nasty surface noises other than the background recording imperfections associated with the 78 genre.
This a small collection of swing music played by some of the greatest exponents.
As I'm downsizing my considerable collection of records of all speeds, mainly swing, jazz and classical I'll be selling a number of lots over the next weeks/months when time allows my fingers to come up to speed with technology. At the moment my attention is towards the 78s.
