SWELL MAPS - RATHER CWAR THREE (UK - 1979) - ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE DIY PUNK BOOKLET/FANZINE A super scarce and genuine original A5 booklet/fanzine by Nikki Sudden's great band Swell Maps from the late '70s - this was issued by band's own label RATHER RECORDS as promotional artifact for their Rather / Rough Trade 7" release 'Dresden Style ep' (gear three / RT 012) in 1979. The bulletin has Rather code CWAR THREE and contains lyrics to the songs, nice drawings, a page for each band member and also for their friends Television Personalities. Some of the copies of this booklet were sent to journalists with copies of Dresden Style 7" ep but I think it was also available individually though the Rough Trade shop for 25p (it is mentioned in the great 45 Revolutions book by Mario Panciera).

I have also seen variants of this booklet with some pages (& cover) in yellow paper but this is an entirely black & white variant of it.
A really fantastic piece of DIY punk & new wave memorabilia, 100% genuine, complete and in very nice condition.
