ABOUT US: We were a brick and mortar record store in a suburb of Los Angeles, CA , but now we are selling our inventory on line.
OUR PRODUCTS: All “NEW/SEALED” items are direct from the distributor in retail packaging, unless otherwise stated. USED CDs are visually inspected. Any CDs that have any visible surface marks are tested for playability and quality. Any that don’t make the cut are tossed. All USED VINYL LPs have been PLAY TESTED to ensure quality (unless otherwise stated). It is our experience that even though an LP appears to be in “MINT”, NM or “VG+” condition when visually inspected, they can “BUMP” or “SKIP” due to unseen hairline scratches or pressing flaws. This (for some reason) is especially true with later releases. Some older releases may look pretty beat up but actually play through nicely with only minor surface noise. The point is this: we think people feel more comfortable buying an LP that has been play tested. Sure, my tastes may allow for more or less “noise” than you for an enjoyable listening experience, but at least you KNOW the LP has been listened to, and can read a clear description of the sound quality; which is a much better starting point than only a “VISUAL GRADE”.
Some “USED” items may be PROMOTIONAL ITEMS and/or have price labels or label residue. We will describe these things in detail in each listing. Please make sure you read the entire product listing and ask any/all questions prior to purchasing.
SHIPPING: We ship all items within 1 BUSINESS DAY OF RECEIPT OF PAYMENT. All CDS are shipped wrapped in bubblewrap between 2 firm “paperboard” inserts. DVDs are shipped in bubblewrap. LPS are shipped in standard cardboard LP MAILER between 2 bubblewrap sheets and added cardboard support. All other items are bubble wrapped and shipped in custom boxes. Any problems with NEW/SEALED merchandise performance or quality is the responsibility of the manufacturer not Rock Candy Music. We do our best to describe all USED items as honestly and completely as possible. Please report any problems with USED merchandise immediately and we will do our best to fix the problem either through replacement or return/refund.
If you would like to add insurance, expedited shipping or custom packaging to your order, you MUST CONTACT US BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT and we will send a revised invoice with the additional charges. International Shipments cannot be tracked, therefore, we cannot guarantee shipping times or quality of service.
RETURN POLICY: Every item is 100% Guaranteed to be "AS-DESCRIBED". Please read entire description. Sometimes we could possibly make a mistake - not usually, but it could happen. We will happily take a return and try our best to have you stay a happy customer. Please contact us immediately to arrange return/refund. Item must be returned within 14 days. Return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. Items MUST be returned in original packaging.
