Apologies to everyone who was watching these auctions, but it was brought to my attention that they weren't visible to people outside the U.K. Due to some kind of a glitch with the 'International Postage' setting. So I've had to restart them.
Due to the problems with the P&P, international shipping will have to be calculated at auctions end.
Macy Skipper - Night Rock / Goofin' Off (Stax)
Near Mint original copy. In final upgrade condition.
Has to be the rarest officially released Stax single?
According to Popsike, two copies sold on ebay in 2012 (one "M-", one "VG"). And another two have sold on Discogs - this one, in 2020 (yes, I got lucky with the price), and a "G" condition copy earlier this year.
As far as I'm aware, this auction is the first time a picture of the "Night Rock" label has ever appeared on the internet. The folks at 45cat. com having correctly deduced that the one uploaded to their site is a fake.
"Night Rock" is a cool mid-tempo R&B/R&R instrumental. "Goofin' Off" is a great uptempo R&R novelty song.

IMPORTANT: READ THIS: I faded the "Night Rock" sound file out after less than a minute, as it's never been reissued. And I wanted to protect the investment of whoever ends up buying it. Check the label for the full run time.
