HARD TO FIND SPECIAL RADIO STATION DECEMBER 3rd 1967 CHRISTMAS SPECIAL REEL TO REEL...
Colonel Parker was always keeping Elvis fresh in the minds of fans - especially during the holidays, when he would market special programs. In 1967, radio stations were supplied with the offered RCA Victor full-track 7 1/2 I.P.S. reel-to-reel complete program and script for Elvis’ Special Christmas Program, which was intended to be played on Sunday, December 3, 1967. Cleverly, the Colonel provided the stations with the complete broadcast, including announcements between songs. This reel-to-reel with original RCA label, original box and script . What better way to ring in the season than with the King? The reel-to-reel box measures 7 1/2 by 7 1/4 by 3/4 inches (19.05 x 18.41 x 1.90 cm), the Christmas Program script measures 6 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches (17.14 x 17.14 cm)
