Description

Up for sale is a super rare promo of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. I have only ever seen this one and every record store owner I have spoken to about it has never seen one either.
The only information I could find on it is from Pink Floyd archives (listed below). They also mention on their site that they have only seen one. 
Here is some additional information specific about this item:

  • Sleeve has light ring wear (shows more due to blue printed cover) and some heavily rubbed edges (top). 
  • Inner-sleeve is standard release, but the glue has become undone. 
  • Also, comes with an unused postcard.
  • Record is VG++. Some minor sleeve scuffs only seen on the inner groove.

Special Columbia Records promo issue with blue cover and mechanical handshake printed on cover. Front and back of cover are identical. Issued with both a banded pressing, and with a standard pressing of the album.
Description
Front Cover: Blue cover with round WYWH handshake printed on the cover in the upper left corner.
Back Cover: Identical with the front cover.
Spine: Blank blue spine.
Inner Sleeve: [front] [back] Heavy cardboard inner sleeve with a picture of a red veil blowing in the wind on one side, and credits and lyrics on the other side.
Labels: Black and blue Columbia picture labels with mechanical handshake.
