SUPER FURRY ANIMALS Do Or Die - Unique 7" Test Pressing on an Uncut 12" Disc

This is a real one off!

It is a 7" test pressing of Do Or Die by Super Furry Animals, but it comes on an uncut 12" disc.

The grooves on the record do not start on the outside pf the disc - if you look at the record it looks like a 7" single with lots of dead wax around the edges. (Sorry - the pics don't really show this as it is difficult to get a good picture of it).

This test pressing was probably just a one-off - I've never seen another one of these for sale on Ebay and I can't imagine that another one exists!

It has white labels on both sides of the disc. The catalogue number in the dead wax reads CRE 329, which is the catalogue number of the officially released 7" single (the 12" catalogue number was CTP 329).

Matrix numbers are CRE 329 A-2-1-1 and CRE 329 B-2-1-1

Comes in a plain white sleeve, with handwriting on it - see pics.

Record Grading System

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed will be mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks but there will be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I will discount postage for bulk purchases – see below. All LPs are sent out in custom-made LP sized cardboard envelopes along with a cardboard stiffener.

I try to keep my postage prices as low as possible, but please take note that Ebay take a 10% cut of the postage you pay, so I only get 90% of the costs you pay - and this has to pay for good quality packaging too!

·         If you are unhappy with the item because you feel that I have made an error or given a misleading description in the listing (and we both agree on this point) then I will provide you with a full refund of the transaction price ie your winning bid for the goods, plus the price you paid for postage. If this happens, I will use my discretion as to whether you need to return the item to me. If I ask you to return it, you must return the item in the original packaging that it came in and I will refund you for the cost of sending it by 2nd class post. When I have safely received the item (and it must still be in the condition that it was when it was originally sent to you) I will issue the refund. You must agree to cancel the transaction with Ebay.

·         If the item arrives damaged and beyond repair I will give a full refund of the transaction price ie your winning bid for the goods, plus the price you paid for postage, upon receipt of proof of damage eg a photo. In these circumstances I will use my discretion as to whether you need to return the item to me. If I ask you to return it, you must return the item in the original packaging that it came in and I will refund you for the cost of sending it by 2nd class post.
