       Super Rare 1981 SUNNYBOYS 'Giveaway' Red Vinyl

 

        This EP was a giveaway at the band's first birthday show at Sydney's 'infamous' Trade Union Club, August 1981.                                                      


Super rare Sunnyboys 1st birthday giveaway 4 track red vinyl 7" ep dated 15 August 1981. Instead of labels has info etched on it and comes in a stamped plain white sleeve. 
Sunnyboys signed to Mushroom Records in February 1981, becoming the first Sydney-based band on the label. Their first release was a single, " Happy Man" (Mushroom, K8335), which reached number 26 on the national singles chart. The same month they made an independent EP entitled Happy Birthday, containing the tracks "What You Need", "Why Do I Cry?", "I Want To Be Alone" and "Let You Go". This was given away at gigs. 


You just cannot purchase these anywhere and are never available to the Public ....unless your lucky ! 


                         A rare piece of Australian history!
