SUN RA-ATLANTIS 1973 ABC / IMPULSE! RECORDS GATEFOLD LP AS-9239 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! One of a trio of albums the Sun Ra released in the 50's and the one that took not only the jazz world, but the music world by storm. There was simply nothing like it, anywhere. The music is diverse, exciting and takes the listener on an aural adventure, yes that's a lot to say but it does. Tracks such as Mu, Lemuria & the monumental title track all appear on this must own late 60's recording. All fans of the man or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just two very light hairlines on side 1 that definitely do not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The gatefold cover has a punch hole in the lower right hand corner(see picture), mild wear along the rest of the edges and minor rubs on the corners. The original inner sleeve has the same small punch hole but is otherwise intact. A fantastic buy!!
