SUN RA AND THIS SOLAR ARKESTRA : The Magic City LP (Thoth Intergalactic /Saturn [USA] LP-B-711) Stereo/ 196?

Record and cover are Near Mint (our highest grade for an opened record). Blue/white stereo Thoth labels, cover says "Monaural" on front cover and spine, "Saturn" on spine, no mention of Thoth on cover.

Beautiful Thoth Intergalactic pressing of this classic Arkestra session from 1965, originally issued on Saturn in 1966. This copy with blue/white labels is probably from sometime in the late '60s, but we aren't sure exactly how to date these. We assume this was before the second Saturn press (LP 403) but there are also copies (both mono and stereo, it seems) with black Thoth labels with the same catalog number and we aren't sure which Thoth pressing came first. Trail off etching is "711-A 1-GB SATURN STEREO" on side A and "711-B 1-GB El Saturn STEREO" on side B.
