Es handelt sich hierbei um die limitierte (ltd. auf 999 Stück) Special-Box „The Shadows Cast By Tomorrow“ mit 3x7“ von SUN RA. Die Box hat die Nummer „969“ und ist im Handel restlos ausverkauft. Von daher ein momentan rares Stück auf dem Markt.
Die Platten-Box wird als „still sealed“ sprich „verschweißt“ versteigert. Das Vinyl leuchtet im Dunkeln.
Special boxed set, the first collection ever to reissue Sun Ra's 7 inch singles in their original format. Limited to 999 individually numbered copies* Jazzman truly outdo themselves with a 3 x 7" pack of ultra-rare Sun-Ra material pressed on glow-in-the-dark wax housed in custom-made, triple gatefold, screen printed sleeve. Sun-Ra would originally release these 7"s on his own Saturn imprint, usually pressed in runs as small as 50 which would end up in the hands of serious collectors. The tracks span a period between 1950 up to the '70s, from the cosmic doo-wop of the Cosmic Rays' 'Dreaming' to the intense moog-rock of 'The Perfect Man' and the highly sought after Ra rockers 'Love In Outer Space', plus Rocket No.9', 'Enlightenment' and Yochannan's 'The Sun Man Speaks'. This is a one-shot deal, highly recommended for Ra collectors and those what know.
