The Heliocentric Worlds of Sun Ra, Vol. 1 LP, mono
1965 ESP Disk 1014 / US
Original mono deep groove issue.
Record is in VG condition : Deep gloss, several surface scuffs/hairline scratches on each side. A single thin scratch that causes an audible click/pop through about 1/2 of Side A. It won’t cause your needle to jump, it doesn’t overpower the recording, but it’s there and you should know about it. The rest of the album plays through quite well — some passages are totally silent, other parts have light surface. I think it still sounds great.
Jacket is in VG condition : Light/average wear at edges, moderate corner wear, rubbing/ring wear, old tape mend at bottom center seam, strong spine, marker name on back.
