Description

Original 1974 U.S. Impulse!/ABC Records pressing of Sun Ra & His Myth Science Arkestra’s Fate in a Pleasant Mood, catalog number AS-9270.


A highly collectible early Sun Ra recording, originally recorded in Chicago around 1960 and first issued on the Saturn label in 1965. This Impulse! edition was released in 1974 and features Sun Ra alongside key Arkestra members John Gilmore, Marshall Allen, Ronnie Boykins and others.


Record: VG+

The vinyl has some visible surface marks but remains in very good overall condition. It has been ultrasonically cleaned.


Cover: VG+

The distinctive gatefold cover is in attractive collectible condition with some normal age and handling wear. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
