OK, you've been warned.
This is an original near mint item from the original Saturn label, made when Sun Ra and Alton Abraham ran the label. This is NOT a reissue. This is the version with large green type on the left that says Sun Ra Discipline 27-II. I also am selling the other cover version, with the same artwork but with small type that says Sun Ra on the right, in a separate Ebay sale. The back covers of the two albums are totally different from one another.
This features cover art by LeRoy Butler and is a quintessential example of Afrofuturist graphics, and is thus suitable for framing, even in museum shows!
Sun Ra's album coverson the original Saturn label are as coveted as the vinyl itself. Unfortunately, with the vast majority of his titles there is more vinyl floating around than jackets. This is a rare chance to remedy the situation, especially since there are a number of copies of this record floating around with generic covers.
Once again, no lp comes with this. Jacket only!
