Description

THE SENSATIONAL GUITARS OF DAN AND DALE : Batman And Robin LP (Tifton [USA] 78002) 1966.

Record is excellent with minimal light sleeve scuffs. Cover (uncut in shrink) is Near Mint.

With insert (split 3" on bottom and a little creased at the corners).

Nice original copy of this 1966 Batman cash-in LP released by toy manufacturer Tifton, which for some unknown reason was recorded by Sun Ra and several members of his Arkestra, along with the Blues Project.

There are no credits on the original, but according to the recent reissues, this is the lineup:

Bass – Andy Kulberg, Pat Patrick
Drums – Roy Blumenfeld
Guitar – Danny Kalb, Steve Katz
Organ – Al Kooper
Organ [Hammond B-3] – Sun Ra
Alto Saxophone – Marshall Allen
Tenor Saxophone – John Gilmore

This sold a lot of copies but since it was a kids' record they rarely turn up in good shape. This is about as nice a copy as you're likely to see.
