Description
From an inherited collection. Vinyl rates VG++. The record plays cleanly with minimal surface noise. The vinyl is shiny and has a few very light scuffs, two very light unfelt linear scratches on one cut. I can't hear them. The labels have a couple of of fingerprint marks and a couple of barely perceptible spindle marks. The sleeve is VG++. There is a bump in the middle of the slot side, which is more pronounced on the the back than the front. Please see the pics. The cover is bright yellow and presents very well. There is a little extremely light age spotting along the top edge. Inside the gatefold, there are a few wrinkles in the middle of the sleeve that appear to be manufacturing issues. The sleeve edges have little to no shelf wear. There is a small bump to the lower right corner and a tiny one on the upper left corner. The inner sleeve is a bit tanned. There are no sleeve splits anywhere. There is no ring wear. Record will be shipped in a proper Lp mailer with stiffeners, poly sleeve and corner protection.

Notes: These recordings were originally released on the Saturn label. Track 2 is noted as "Lenuria" on the printed label. Recorded in performance at the Sun Arts Club, Chicago, 1960.
Notes from inside cover: THE DEAD PAST: The civilizations of the past have been used as the foundation of the civilization of today. Because of this, the world keeps looking toward the past for guidance. Too many people are following the past. In this new space age, this is dangerous. The past is DEAD and those who are following the past are doomed to die and be like the past. It is no accident that those who die are said to have passed since those who have PASSED have PAST.
