Sun Ra and his Arkestra

"FEATURING PHAROAH SANDERS / FEATURING BLACK HAROLD"
Also known as "Gods on a Safari"
Live at the Cellar Cafe, New York 6/15/1964

LP
Cover/Disc: NM/M
Labels: M/M
El Saturn     165
Original 1st USA press from 1976
Scratched on the trail off vinyl: "JHNY 165-A" / "JHNY 165-B"

New and in perfect conditions.
Album conserved in plastic bag and vinyl in added antistatic thin inner sleeve since the purchase.
Just a few minor signs of handling in cover, because of the white background, absolutely no flaws. Classic Saturn plain white hard cardboard jacket with a sheet pasted on. This sheet, yellow with a lion drawing by Le Roy Butler, is actually mint; maybe silk-screened, on a non common kind of paper. See photos below.

This is the only limited release.
This album has actually no reissues.

Side A:
Gods on a Safari (Ra)
The World Shadow (incl. Rocket Number 9) (Ra)
Side B:
The Voice of Pan (Ra)
Dawn over Israel (incl. Space Mates) (Ra)

Ra-p, e-celeste; Al Evans-tp, flg; Chris Capers-tp; Teddy Nance-tb; Bernard Pettaway-tb; Robert Northern-frh; Marshall Allen-as, fl; Danny Davis-as, fl; Robert Cummings-bcl; Pat Patrick-bs; Pharoah Sanders-ts; Black Harold-fl; Alan Silva-b, clo; Clifford Jarvis-d; Art Jenkins- space voice.

1a stampa originale USA del 1976

Nuovo, in condizioni perfette.
Conservato in busta di plastica e vinile in busta antistatica sottile aggiunta sin dall'acquisto.
Solo minimi segni di maneggiamento in copertina, visibili a causa dello sfondo bianco, assolutamente nessun difetto.

Registrato 15/6/1964, dal vivo a New York. Inedito.
Il foglio incollato sul fronte copertina è perfetto, forse litografato, su una carta non comune. Disegno di Le Roy Butler.

Unica edizione limitata. Questo album non ha assolutamente avuto alcuna ristampa.
