Full-length LP from Sun Ra and his Intergalactic Infinity Arkestra titled "Space Is The Place" released by Blue Thumb Records (QUAD BTS 41) in 1973. Rare original quadraphonic version of Sun Ra's classic free jazz album. The cover was autographed on the inner fold by Sun Ra and 10 other members of his Arkestra including saxman John Gilmore! I received this record as a premium for pledging money during a fundraising drive for Penn University college radio station WXPN who used to have some great radio shows including the Diaspar progressive music program that played and promoted Sun Ra's music. Still have the pledge slip included with this album. Here's a chance to own jazz music history!

Labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Vinyl record is in VG+ condition with a few light sleeve marks and some sleeve stains/fogging. Plays with some light, sporadic vinyl tics but nothing overbearing or distracting...sounds great!  Gatefold cover is in VG/VG+ condition with wear at corners, edgewear, some ringwear, surface wear, a small punch-hole in top left corner and a 2-inch corner split on back panel. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
