Sun Ra & His Arkestra w/Pharaoh Sanders & Black Harold Gods On A Safari Original Hand-painted El Saturn LP Very Rare Private Press
Beautiful copy of this very hard to find self-released LP from Sun Ra, Gods On A Safari, Saturn #165, released in 1976. This is a very rare variant, as the majority of these LPs were issued with paste-on printed sleeves whereas this has an original painting on the front and a hand-written title in red pen. Paste-on track listing on the back has torn and come loose but is still intact. Recordings from NY in 1968 featuring guests Pharaoh Sanders and Black Harold. A very rare art edition LP from Sun Ra. Yellow Saturn labels with Chicago address. Vinyl: Ex. Hand-painted cover: Ex (torn paste-on credits on back sleeve).
