SUN KIL MOON - GHOSTS OF THE GREAT HIGHWAY - LIMITED EDITION DOUBLE WHITE VINYL ALBUM - DEBUT LP OF MARK KOZELEK'S NEW GROUP IN 2003.

  • This is pretty rare, even the black vinyl pressing was very limited and long long sold out.
  • This is the rarer double white vinyl. Only approximately 300 of these were pressed.
  • 11 track double vinyl in gatefold sleeve with additional title card "Includes the vinyl-only bonus track Gentle Moon (Acoustic)"
  • This copy is unplayed mint. The vinyls have only been out of their inner sleeves for the photo. The gatefold cover is mint with no creases or corner knocks. In original polyester protective outer sleeve as it came (except polyester sleeve opened to check vinyl colour).
  • Jetset Records, VR 30031. Pressed in 2003.

I've been told by a Mark Kozlelek fan that there were apparently less than 300 copies of this album on white vinyl. Apparently there was a first run of 100 followed by an identical run of a further 100 with possibly 30 further copies distributed to particular fans. And the black vinyl was apparently limited to 600 only.

Oh - and the "card title strip" is of course also known as an "Obi" strip (as per many Japanese vinyl pressings in the 70s and 80s; except this one is card not thin paper).
