Leah Senior is a Melbourne based singer songwriter. She grew up in the country listening to her mother singing arias whilst blasting rock and roll from her bedroom. Her music now falls in the middle of these worlds and into a dim wallpapered room of slightly out of tune parlour guitars and the ghosts of Summer and Nick Drake. Leah Senior's debut album 'Summer's On The Ground' lilts between the past and present, city and space. Leah describes 'Summer's On The Ground' as 'a whimsical set of seasonal lullabies echoing a restless desire for transformation. I recorded this early last year in a beautiful old hall by the coast with local wonders Nick Huggins and Mark Lang.'
