Description

SUGAR PIE DESANTO HELLO SAN FRANCISO LP

DeSanto is known for having toured with The Johnny Otis Revue. From 1959-1960, she toured with The James Brown Revue and she collaborated with Etta James. This is a rare album of hers from 1984.

Released on Jasman records, cat. no. JR121829B. First pressing.

Matrix: A1 / B1.

Features two tracks recorded in 1983-84, the remainder having been recorded in 1974.

Sleevenotes by Lee Hildebrand, associated editor of East Bay Express, Ortiz Montaigne Walton (musician, author and composer) and Sonny Buxton (pr agent).

Condition: sleeve still in (opened) shrinkwrap, generally excellent condition apart from K-SCAN BLUES being handwritten on the front. Vinyl in excellent condition apart from four small handwritten words on the label.

This is from my own collection and has been looked after with great care since bought in the above condition. I will use a cardboard stiffener for extra protection in the packaging.

Payment due within 3 days of auctions end. Payment through PayPal only.
