Description
This vinyl LP is Metromedia Records MD 1020 Original 1969 release of Sugar Creek "Please Tell A Friend" As is shown in the photos, it is a white label promo. This record is desirable not simply because of its rarity, but because it's an impressively good manifestation of the psych/blues genre for the time. Sad that they never achieved the fame they undoubtedly deserve.
Vinyl is VG, there are a few spots where the damage causes noticeable loud pops, but there aren't any skips, and most of the disc does play without a lot of background noise.
Cover is G+, and the only reason it gets the plus is because the ringwear isn't completely awful. But the top seam is totally shot, and a quarter of the spine is split too. There are also small bits of writing.
All in all a halfway decent copy of a disc that's pretty tough to find.
Shipped in professionally packed corrugated containers (LP mailers) with two fillers and bubble wrap.
Domestic shipping cost reflects an assumed $2.98 Media Mail™ rate and $.90 for Delivery Confirmation™.
International shipping will vary based on location.
