Description

RARE, excellent condition original release of The Subhumans (from Vancouver, Canada) second 7" entitled Firing Squad. Released in 1980 on Quintessence Records (Canada, CAT# QS 105) including BOTH the UNCENSORED pink sleeve with a picture of people being shot by a firing squad and children in a classroom on the other side -- along with the other black and white picture sleeve they used when the stores didn't want to sell the violent pink sleeve. That second censored sleeve has a picture of the band on it and the lyrics to the two songs Firing Squad and No Productivity on the other side -- two of the greatest punk songs of all time. No Productivity was covered by legendary DOA on the Terminal City Ricochet soundtrack. This 7" looks amazing and both the record and sleeves are in excellent condition. This classic is a true punk collectors item.

On this release, the Subhumans were:

Wimpy Roy (AKA Brian "Sunny Boy Roy" Goble) - Vocals
Gerry Useless (AKA Gerry Hannah) - Bass
Koichi Imagawa (AKA Jim Imagawa) - Drums
Mike Graham (AKA Mike Normal) - Guitar

Bio: The Subhumans are a seminal punk band fromVancouver, British Columbia, Canada that formed in 1978. The singer also played bass in D.O.A.  Their songs have been covered by many other bands, including DOA, No Means No, MDC and Cub. In 2005, the Subhumans reunited and signed to Alternative Tentacles and G7 Welcoming Committee Records.
