Up for sale is one(1) STYX - Cornerstone LP from 1979 on A&M Records (#SP-3711). This is a frist pressing and is Still in the original SHRINK with the original Hype Sticker. Has the Tri-Fold cover.
This LP features the big hits Babe and Borrowed Time.
GOOD LUCK FINDING A COPY IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP AS THESE WERE USUALLY RIPPED OPEN TO SEE THE INSIDE OF THE TRI-FOLD COVER WHICH HAS PICTURES AND LYRICS.
I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
The vinyl is in very good+ condition but has some surface marks that do not affect play but may cause some pops or clicks along the way. Has STERLING stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
The cover is still in the original shrinkwrap and is in very good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to wear at the opening, corner dings, crumples, and ring wear. There are no split seams. There is a hole / tear in the shrink wrap in the upper left corner on the front cover where the price sticker was. This was a gift, so the giver tried to remove the price sticker but ended up tearing the shrink.
The Hype Sticker is in Very Good+ condition but does have a few creases in the upper right corner.
The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is a small sticker removal spot on the Side 2 label.
I obtained this LP in the late 1970's or early 1980's. It was gently played back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. it has been in storage ever since.
